Kathryn Is On The Road To Success
Kathryn and her family worked with Jeff Witt, General Manager at Mobility Works in Cincinnati, to receive her new Dodge Grand Caravan with a BraunAbility conversion. Kathryn’s letter beautifully expresses what a difference mobility freedom makes for an individual with adaptive transportation needs:
Dear National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility,
Thanks to your generosity I am planning to pursue a doctorate in Genetic Research & Psychology. It is because of your generous monetary donation to assist in purchasing a ramping system I will be able to pursue my goal of becoming a Genetic Research Therapist. My dream of helping others to overcome many of the adversities that I have had to face will now come to fruition because of your generous gift. My life has truly been changed.
In what most of us take for granted, I will now be able to participate. Doors of opportunities have now been opened. I will be able to participate in educational internships that will enable me to reach my full potential. Words cannot express what it means to become an independent, fully functioning member of society. Your generous gift will allow for a life of opportunity and possibilities. My life has truly changed. The ability to drive has made the world a bigger place and has allowed me to feel productive and less isolated. It will enable me to enjoy more of what life has to offer with my family and friends. Thank you does not seem like enough to say when I have been blessed by such generosity. Your donation has shown me how important it is to “pay it forward” to positively influence the life of someone else. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you. If I can ever be of service to your foundation, please bless me with the opportunity.
With sincere gratitude,
Kathryn
