Ilderton Conversions Delivers Austin’s New Van
Austin is a fifteen year old boy who was born with Cerebral Palsy and many other health issues. His Mom, Amy says that Austin has to be transported to and from school every day as well as to many doctor’s appointments and hospital visits. Like any other teenager, he enjoys getting out into the community as well. The van they had been using required Mom and Dad to lift Austin and his wheelchair in and out several times a day. Erika Boykin, a mobility consultant with Ilderton Conversions in High Point, NC assisted the family in applying for a grant from The National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility. Amy Reports, “Our new van will simplify our lives greatly. We are so thankful and blessed to have this van. We can’t thank the National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility enough for helping to make this possible.”
The National Organization for Vehicle Accessibility is currently fundraising to sponsor another funding cycle this year.
